There are two ways for you to receive money back and swag for helping to promote this years ALC! One way is by referring your friends to join. The other will be by fundraising.
Every registrant will get a unique url or referral link sent to them in their confirmation email upon registering. You can then share that link anywhere online. If 4 people sign up from your unique url, you will automatically receive a $25 refund back to the card you used to register. Also, upon completing registration, you will be prompted to share on Facebook and Twitter. You are not required to do this, but it is highly encouraged. These FB and Twitter share links on the registration confirmation page will include your unique referral code that credits you as the referrer.
If you fundraise $300 you will receive a $50 refund as a reward! Before or after you register on the website, you can set up a fundraiser complete with a photo, message, and a custom fundraiser url. This url can be used to send people directly to your fundraiser page. Your fundraiser can also be linked with Facebook. Any donations made on the ALC page or from the linked FB fundraiser will go towards the $300 goal. You are not required to donate to your own fundraiser if you choose to create one. There is no penalty for not hitting your goal.
We're giving out additional prizes to the Top 3 people that refer the most people to register for ALC. If you are one of these people, you will receive a DJI phone gimbal, a bluetooth speaker, a megaphone, or $100 will be donated to an animal sanctuary in your name. You choose! You must refer at least 6 friends to be eligible for a prize. Get to sharing!
